Hello, friend

Hello friend
It’s a pleasure to meet you

Come have a seat and a drink. I’ll treat you

Let’s chat about times that more sunny and bright

All along you wouldn’t know I don’t know what you look like.

Your likes, interests and music taste

I know it all, but not your face.

My vision fades, it’s all a blur. It’s easy to miss

You couldn’t know, to see it I’d have to be close enough to kiss

Thats not super ideal in most social situations

So I stare at blank faces and make my salutations

I’ll learn your voice, your footsteps and vaguely how your shaped

But if someone is built similar I can make mistakes

Perhaps it is quite frightening
And perhaps it makes me sad

But I can’t always be negative. That would drive me mad.

I make light and humor
To put others at ease

Sometimes it Makes theme feel bad for my malady.

I don’t want that. I am not a thing to be pitied.

Just a dude in a country where social healthcare is ty.

It’ll get better when I can get insurance
Get this all cleared up

But until then I’ll have to deal, unfortunately im stuck

But it won’t get me down. Survival is what I do best.

But it’s gonna be sad If it gets worse. And I’ll have to write even less.
