Hello Fall

Welcome back cold weather
I thought you were long gone,
leaves are back to shivering
winds blow quite strong.

Leaves try to hang on
with their last bit of strength,
being whipped around by wind
Summer was at short length.

Flowers are dying off quickly
leaves are strewn on the ground,
I bundle up in slippers and a sweater
Winter, will soon come around.

I can't believe how quickly Summer was here and gone. Now we're back into Fall and Winter is just right around the corner again.
