Hello Darkness My Old Friend

Hello darkness my old friend Nice to meet you once again I didn’t mean you any harm Why the cause for this alarm Darkness led me to a place I couldn’t even see her face It was cold and empty space Filled with torment and disgrace She led me down some corridors And I found myself on the moors She whispered silently in my ear Suddenly I was gripped with fear I began to choke and revoke My eyes were streaming from the smoke I began to slumber and felt quite frail Then I realised, this must be hell I felt a jolt and like a bolt Thrust back in time for my revolt Suddenly from in my bed Was I dreaming was I dead The darkness fell once more Engulfing me that’s for sure I felt a cloak of tightness fall I tried to grab I felt so small This time travelling really fast I saw the echoes of my past We flew by some obscure things Is this what my darkness brings?
