Hello Darkness
Hello darkness
Bring me into your light
Where I feel safe
And I feel al right
In behind the shadows
I'll let you see my soul
I'll no longer hide
I'll tell you everything you want to know
Naked in front of you
Blanketed in blackness
Good-by reality
Hello to madness
Where I can be strong
And I can be sane
And I feel nothing
From love to pain
I've learnt to find shelter
I've learnt how to hide
But now I can't seem
To show my true feelings inside
So only in darkness
Do I have the courage to show
My truth
My lies
And all I've kept unknown
Because in behind my passion
Lies a hidden sorrow
That no matter how hard I tried
I was destined to be alone
