Hello Autumn
Hello Autumn,
I've missed you my friend.
I've said my goodbyes
to Summer as she ends.
Your colourful flair
is a sight to behold
with your warm, sunny days
and nights growing cold.
The leaves on the trees.
with their golds and their reds,
are mixed with summer flowers
now bowing their heads.
The deck 'neath my feet
is cold to the touch
as I watch the sunrise.
Yes, I've missed you so much.
The most colourful season,
you put on quite a show.
Please stay for awhile,
I don't want you to go.
Autumn, oh Autumn,
my favourite season of all.
Of all four of the seasons
the most beautiful is fall.
