He'Ll Walk With You

HE’LL WALK WITH YOU

Are you walking life’s pathway feeling lonely and blue?
Do you wish you had someone who would listen to you?
I know the feeling, for I walked there, too,
Till I heard Jesus say, “I’ll walk with you.”
Now we’re walking together, hand in hand o’er life’s miles,
And I know that He’ll help me face the storms and trials.
If you’re walking lonely, here’s what I suggest to do:
Put your trust in the Saviour, and He’ll walk with you.

While I’m walking this pathway, troubles get in the way,
But I can overcome them when I kneel and pray.
My Saviour hears me, for He’s walked there, too;
He knows the struggles that I’m going through.
I have peace while I’m walking there at Jesus’ side,
And I know that His promise says He’ll e’er abide.
If you’re walking lonely, here’s what I suggest to do:
Put your trust in the Saviour, and He’ll walk with you.

	These words written to “Have You Ever Been Lonely.”
