He'Ll Never See Reality
There's nothing in the world we know
To help us see eternity
Or claim its everlasting glow
As part of our reality.
We're mixing magic potions still
As if our primal mind is king.
But magic potions will not fill
Our need to answer everything.
I don't believe in UFOS
Or Yetis roaming through the hills,
So why would I let myth impose
False truth on me that slowly kills.
Mankind believes in things unseen
To ease the pain of his domain.
His mind of reason getting lean
As fear remains a mindless stain.
If we can't see it, it ain't there,
A rule of thumb from childhood one.
But when it comes to death's despair
It's myth that wins the final run.
If answers stay forever free
Of man's inate ability
To calm and solve this mystery -
He'll never see reality.
