Hell, It Ain'T No Fad, But Best I Forget It
Hell, It Ain't No Fad, But Best I Forget It
I want it so bad but I just can't get it
Hell, it ain't no fad, but best I forget it
Life is just a broken heart disease
And not golden treasure that please
But that calm after the damn storm
And in my prayers I pray you no harm
Tis my dying soul they want to seize
And lost spirit in this earthen form
O' tis darkness, the evil in terra form
I want it so bad but I just can't get it
Hell, it ain't no fad, but best I forget it
Love is the harvest but mine is absent
A hero's sword is straight but mine is bent
It is a moonlit night and I'm a'cryin
I've lost my true sight, I am a'dyin
Comes that calm after the damn storm
And in my prayers I pray you no harm
I beg forgiveness for all of my lyin'
I want it bad but I just can't get it
Hell, it ain't no fad, but best I forget it
