Hell
Poet: Ken Jordan
Poem: Hell
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan

From the dust
of hell
he rose -
He rose like
a phoenix,
and
entered
my
willing soul -
The devil
was
in
full control
of my
mind
and
spirit -
I became
disruptive
and
destructive -
My life
was a
living hell -
The devil
enticed me
through
lies,
deception,
and
manipulation,
masquerading
fun
and
excitement -
It was all
lies,
designed
to
make me
a victim
of
his madness -
Through
it all
I've learned
that
the devil
is a
lier,
who wears
a mask
to hide
it's sadistic
ways -
My life
changed
for the
good
when I
stopped
running
from the
truth -
I
no longer
see myself
as a victim,
I turned
around;
faced
my demon's,
and
the devil
moved on
to
another
willing soul -
The
Devil
is
a lier -
