Hell

Voices scream in terror,
They cry, pained whimpers left echoing in your ears,
And you can't escape.

Running frantically,
Fire in waves of relentless fury surrounding your path,
You can't escape.

This Hell, mustered from fear itself-
Your enemy- cackles,
The shadows reflected from the fire swarming you, invading internally.

Internally indeed,
With no chance to escape the devilish imagination of the mind,
You live your life in Hell.

The title immediately made me want to read this because recently I've been living in a hell of my own making and you have it spot on here in this poem. Good work :)
