Notes About The Poem

helix

Listen to poem:

Helix Unfolding to Becoming

A seed, spiral-wound
unwinds its yo-yo string strands—
auguring up down
with a double helix reach
unfolding life's code and map

With germination,
roots sink as branches ascend,
spiral paths entwine
growth does not rush headlong through—
it turns, curves, branches, transcends

The acorn knows well
how to become an oak tree—
no tutelage sought
the spiral codes what you are
knowing what you can become

Yes indeed. I enjoyed reading your exploration of seed codes. So much more than computer binary, with living-ness and purpose. Lovely. J :)
