Notes About The Poem

Ghost of Frankenstein Contest

*Some characters and situations from movie "Austin Powers"

Helicoprian

In deepest nightmares, the buzzsaw
fast asleep, extinct, its teeth.

What psycho decided to D.N.A. cast
this swimming ancestor of Jaws?

Can you imagine the grind (cool beans!)
of his afterlife (a laugh a minute)?

Bad enough, the bite of cold eyes.
You, Psycho, on steroids.

Dr. Evil would cringe. He rather enjoyed
the thrill of a shark with laser beams.

“Ooh,” he’d yell! Mini Me might clap,
as the gears whirl and torque.

“You must think me a real jerk!”
he says to Scott. “Bring back the lasers!”

Nothing little about this buzzsaw.
Don’t resurrect the extinct monsters…

too late…raw fate
