Held Down and Suppressed
3 steps forward, 2 steps back
Why do I feel as I am under attack
Why don’t they understand my point of view
They sit there with their opinions so skewed
Harder and harder to push through the gate
Do you not understand that this is my fate
I try and I try to make it all work
But get nowhere because “they” are a jerk
I will move forward to get to where I need/want to be
Than all you skeptics will get to see
I am stronger and will get there no matter what
And then all the haters can kiss my butt !
