Water view without you At least not in the flesh But in my mind and heart combined Are thoughts of you afresh With dreams of us together Sharing things we love Never saying never To the hope thereof Come dawn with me at Montauk We'll watch the great sun rise From over the Atlantic To brighten morning skies Then we'll catch an airplane And take it way out west To sit by the Pacific The sunsets there are best I'd always keep you wondering You'd never know what's next Surprises are my specialty But I'm not that complex I am a little crazy But crazy about you And all these things I think of Are things that I would do To get a great big smile Or just a tiny kiss So that you'd know I love you Is why I'd do all this From smallest little efforts To great thoughts for you towards For me to know you like them Is the greatest of rewards
