Heavy Wooden Throne
Lord Jesus,
Son of God,
Took birth
On earth to
Save people
From sins and grant life after death
In heaven, if they follow Him in His path.
In Him the people had such a great faith
That they honored Him with a crown of
Thorns and a heavy wooden throne,
On which He
Was nailed
And made to
Hang till He
Died with His
Arms spread
Wide apart.
Gloriously!
Conquering
Death, Jesus
Rose alive on
The third day.
He blessed all
His followers
And promised
To come again
Before rising
High in sky;
So high that
No mortal eye
Could ever see.
