Heavy Rain

Light isn’t going to touch you if you don’t let someone care Darkness that surrounds you if no one knows you are there Heavy rains been falling, no one left to trust Looking all around you, everything’s turned to rust Knocking at the gate, the iron door swings ajar A voice calls out to you, do you know where you are You venture deep into your mind, remembering the steps that you took You open your eyes wide, rubbing them, to take a second look The image before you is something you never would believe It echoes of the present, past and future all in time a relief Light isn’t going to touch you if you don’t let someone care Darkness that surrounds you if no one knows you are there
