Heavy is the Summers Night

Heavy is the summers night
Heavy like the thought of life
Like shifting winds and
Distant light
Heavy is the Summers night

Distant are the stars at night
Illuminating distant sight
Elevating thoughts of flight
Heavy is the summers night

Heavy still the Summers day
Heavy like a storm at play
Thunder beckons Lightning bright
Heavy is the Summers night

Heavy are the August skies
September waits with wary eyes
Remembers summer at its height
Heavy is the Summers night
