Heaving Halo

shimmering shafts of thin shivering light streak through and softly shred behind me the whole length of my lengthening shadow, as I face the breath-taking, blood-red horizon of the darkening dusk, and as I gaze grateful at the heaving halo of the sleepy, sunken sun.
