Heaven's Wonder

In quiet solitude, I gaze on
Soaking up the dying sunset
With my eyes-

A bird calls as it wings its way
To rest; so free, so alive!
My heart pulses with the beauty
Of a universe around me,
As this spirit glorifies heaven
Which created such beauty,
Such wonder I cannot fathom.
