Heavenly Walk

Heavenly Walk

I wonder how it would be to take a walk through heaven
And to feel the Lord's presence and to know he is there
I wonder how it would be to walk hand in hand with Jesus
To feel his wondrous love, and to experience his care

Of all the wonderful things that are in heaven for me to see;
I would only have eyes for Jesus who cares so much for me
I would love to walk by his saide; as my experience I did share
And I would listen, to him, and enjoy the wonders I saw there

The heavenly father's throne is there in that heavenly place
I know he loves me enough to send Jesus to save me by his grace
He who keeps his eye on the sparrow day by day;
Keeps his eye on me, and guides my path always

And the holy spirit, who once came from heaven as a dove
Is the one who walks with me daily, showing me God's love
He gently prods me when I have done wrong
For he cares about me and wants to keep my song

This is how it would be to take a walk down the heavenly street
Ans see my saviour, Lord and comforter. That can't be beat
For you see, my friend, my Lord is one in three in heaven for me
And they walk with me daily as they will through all eternity
