Heavenly Slumber
O death don't be so proud
you're not as powerful nor dreadful
a being that one may think
Dying you take me to the grave
in sweet surrender that comes with rest and sleep
through this passage of life
Which brings pleasure
mixed with euphoric sighs
in the last breath
Moving so swiftly into a peaceful slumber
beautiful tranquil music surrounds outside the body
neon ultra violet beams of celestial brilliance
In experiencing the supernatural glory
overwhelming joy brighter than light
beyond beauty without comparison
It's there a soul finds reason
why a good life is cut short
giving rest to the conscience in eternal bliss
Setting the spirit free Almighty Master
O God in deaths prayer
You hold everlasting power over all
