Heaven on Earth

Stand witness to our heaven on earth-
Something so obvious but still many cannot See-
They are the creators of all life through birth-
Why are they not held high by all, how can this be?

Alas because some believe them a beast of burden-
Their mission to serve others and be submissive-
To roil under the strict laws made by men!
Not to have all the rights that life should give-

One day all these wrong men shall awaken-
Mother and sisters and daughters alive-
To grasp the dignity and trust that was taken-
To finally allow the true heaven on earth to thrive-

reminds me of the Helen Reddy Song, "We are Woman, Hear Us Roar.'
