Heaven Knows

Only Heaven knows
When I see you, I miss you
Heaven and myself

And when I miss you
Heaven knows that I feel blue
Heaven knows I cry

Magic in your smile
Dancing freckle on your cheek
Oh, if hearts could speak

Dreamed another life
A life with you still in it
Then you kissed my cheek

That's when I knew it
When I knew that you would roam
Oh, I knew it well

I thought you were back
Or you never even left
I thought you were home

Must be the sunlight
The grace of your affection
Must be yesterdays

Must be the magic
The sense of your attention
Only Heaven knows
