Heaven Is Waiting

Heaven is waiting for you, my friend You said, you saw them there I know you want to leave the suffering behind You have fought so hard and been so kind Angels are waiting, you will find When the time is right, everything will be so bright This illness will attack you no more Heaven is waiting my friend Every giving gesture on your part is known All the love you have spread is shown And when that time comes… I will be looking at the sky, still seeing you Knowing that you are home safely Know that I will be there one day and our reunion will shine It will shine like every star in the sky For every moment shared and everything you did for me For everyone on earth to see Heidi Sands 11/23/22

Thank you so very much. It has been very hard to see this happen to my friend with aggressive cancer who has fought so hard without complaints and is one of the most giving people I know. I appreciate your kind comment. Hugs:)
