Heaven Help Me

I feel like giving in to it The past is closing in on me Physically as age comes on Sometimes the pain is unbearable What I want can’t help What I need is in reach Don’t want to know it again Heaven help me if I give in The devil has a hold of me I don’t know how much longer I can fight him off My will is fading fast Dear lord, don’t let me go I can’t last much longer The feelings are strong Heaven help if I give in

Dear Teresa, Don't ever give up please. Keep on writing, you have a gift to share with the world. The Lord is always with you, he will never let you go. He loves you! When the time is right he will take you but in the meantime try to Live the best you can while you still have life. Big Hugs and Gods Blessings to you my dear Teresa

Thank you Bernard, I wrote that poem a few years ago when going thru a rough time. Due to encourgement I joined P-Soup to share my poems as all are based on my life's ezperinces or emtions.
