Heaven Colors Life Pure and White
Heaven Colors Life Pure and White
Winter colors have drifted white.
Twigs of ice sparkle crystal rains.
Beauty beneath has frozen lights.
Generous gifts squelched hunger pains.
Churches, children, and parents chime.
Loving Godsends and hope remains.
Freezing! Homeless! Alone this time…
Hear as shoppers hurry around.
Those silent chimes, “Please give one dime.”
People singing! Tearful eyes found.
“What is all the scurry about?”
“Stop!” Fall to your knees, heaven bound.
“Ho! Ho! Ho!” says the man with clout.
He dressed in red with cheeks so bright!
Joyful squeals, childhood laughter, shout!
Alone. One man watched the whole sight.
Pierced hands, He reached out to the crowd.
Heaven colors life pure and white.
Quiet hearts, listened with heads bowed.
