I received a text With a heart-wrenching context God has taken you away An invitation to his ballet Uncontrollable tears Descends from my eyes I am wishing back the years Where our friendship resides Never Will I understand Life and death’s expiration stamp But I take comfort in knowing Jesus is holding your hand I vision you dancing and singing with Angels This part of your departure I can handle My heart and soul would love you forever The possibilities of our harmonizing laughter It’s promising when the day comes that I join you on the throne In the awesome place that’s now your home I know you are smiling down from above In the presence of our Jesus I too, return that smile Wide and bright That makes my mourning worthwhile How great is it for you?
