Heaven Bound
I woke up this morning. The Lord was holding my hand
And we were looking down at me
You will find my name on the obituary page
But my soul has been set free.
I don’t need any Get-up-and-go
I wouldn’t leave here if I could.
I’m happy at my new address
I wouldn’t leave my neighborhood.
I love you all. Please celebrate
The life we shared together
The memories you have of me
Are yours to keep forever.
I don’t need glasses anymore
I don’t need pills for pain
I’m heaven bound to wear my crown
And praise His Holy Name!
