Heaven and Hell
I'm stuck between heaven and hell
Angel on my shoulders, but I'm trapped inside the devils cell
I'm talking about the things they never tell
I'm trapped between heaven and hell
Every mistake I made, left a lesson
Imagine escaping the devil just to be met by depression
I've been tormented and tortured by my demons
I fought back at depression, but it was me who was left bleeding
I've gained wounds on the road I've traveled
I've lost a few fights, but I'll win the battle
I act reckless at times, I need to grow and mature
People think less of me, because I can't always show them more
Daddy wasn't around, I had to be my own father figure
I'm going to raise the bar higher, because my dad chose liquor
I refuse to be like him, I'm already better
I'm trying to get the world off my shoulders, or will it be heavy forever?
Every girl I get with
Is usually put off by the number of girls I've slept with
I used to bed hop so much I wouldn't even remember a girls name
Using sex to heal my hurt in a world of pain
I've made mistakes, but I'm trying to be better than I used to be
You're right to judge me, this isn't new to me
I just hope you can see, I'm not the same person and I'm trying
This is my apology letter, so its nowhere near my best rhyming
I'm stuck between heaven and hell
Angel on my shoulders, but I'm trapped inside the devils cell
I'm talking about the things they never tell
I'm trapped between heaven and hell
