Heaven
Just for one moment in your arms I found heaven. A safe haven. Somewhere where I
didn't have to worry or feel afraid. Out of the darkest places that i've ventured into I finally found a
light that shines brighter than i've ever known. Do you even know? I doubt you know the extent of
my love. Oh boy why did I even mention that? Cause I truly am confused. Even though you
made me sad you made me happier far more. I will always appreciate your guidance. I will
always appreciate your tenderness. I know that heaven was in reach and that god was trying to
tell me something the day I met you. This is a little weird cause this is starting to sound like a
tribute. Maybe it is. A tribute to something. A tribute to new love. A tribute to love lost. A tribute to
all of the above. I've never felt love before. But i've also never felt something so power and
something so real either. So as I sit here contemplating my fate all I can say is I got a little taste
of heaven. I got to visit the place my daddy went away to be. I got to feel safe. I haven't felt that
sense of security since well since I stop eating happy meals and falling asleep in the back of my
dads suv. I haven't felt that good since the last time my dad took me fishing.I want to go back to
heaven. But only in your arms can I reach it... Heaven.
