Heat of the Heartbeat
My dearest love, apple of my eye,
A silent, pulsing flame fervently flares
In the crazy chamber of my chest,
Whispering a warm wafting acclaim
That sets my life to trying tiresome tests.
BURN ME WITH YOUR LOVE POISON
Still the hot heat of my inner fire will glow,
Spreading beyond my skin's confine,
Lifting my shabby sorrowful self
To a constant cosy cadence.
IN THE MISTS OF YOUR EYES
Shines the glow of my breast in flames,
My heart, a hearth of hidden fire,
Responds to your unspoken wishes
Stirs and wakes, a steady flow,
A love that only glitters for you.
Within that depth, a real mirror,
I see my spirit shining steadily,
A burning ember, pure and bright,
That banishes the darkest gloom,
Whether of pitch night or cloudy day.
Though you may fly to distant lands
Or ascend to celestial heaven,
I WILL FIND YOU BEYOND THE STARS;
The span of stellar space will not be a hurdle
As my heart carries dreams and hopes
That softly bloom and memories that linger,
Sweet and deep, across time and space
Banishing doubts, darkness and distance.
Across the vast expanse of seas
I’ll seek you in the distant oceans;
My spirit will be my guiding rudder,
Each wave, a clue to where you may lie
As this fiery passion burns bright,
Guiding my way through darkness;
I will reach up to you wherever you are
WHERE THE SKY DRIFTS INTO THE SEA,
At the ever-receding horizon.
Marvelled by the mists of your eyes,
LEASED TO YOUR DUSK,
Our fate is knottily woven with each other,
Our souls entwined with one another.
So let us listen, to this balmy bright beat,
This reassuring rhythm, born of flesh and soul,
The heartbeat's hot heat, a promise to be kept
That makes our fractured being as one
A vibrant vow, a whisper of the breeze
That life goes on, despite the flitting years,
A beacon burning, ever strong and bright,
Dispelling darkness, destroying dangling doubts.
