Heat
Sweltering heat from all around
Zaps my energy sweat dripping to the ground
Heavy breathing lungs seem to fail
Oxygen low to no avail
Summers’ heat unbearable to some
To the beach to have a little bit o’ fun
Salty ocean cools my soul
Mind and body now a whole
Seagulls high within the sky
Dropping clams to watch them die
Sandy granules upon my feet
Ocean water is just so sweet
