Heart,You Let Me Down

I've sought yet found in vain
Been slain a thousand times, now in pain
For no thorn pierces deep,as that of a rose
beneath the smiles is a heart that froze
never in my life had i been so close

'Beauty never slumbers'
These the words of love's founders
Blinder by the day are love's villains
Those who got all but in grains
All day they sob in the rains

It's better to have loved and lost than never to have
loved at all
Yes!i loved her always, she loved me sometimes
Adorned her with fancy jewels money could buy
But whyfore dost a lad die for what he vies
Hath love given ye breath or driven you to death?

Though this be the last pain that she makes me
suffer
And these the last verses that I write for her.
As dusk befalls this somber ambiance
In it mine whole shall rest for once
So shalst i at my future glance.

Isaac, the heart is the most important organ in our bodies... without it we can't love, breathe, or live.... but, it is so sad to own one... it is also the most painful organ to own and love.. it is the death of us... love the poem, and your point of view .... xox~ SKAT
