Heartstrings

I smiled when your eyes met my own 
As feet soft as silk touched my skin 
And ever since then I have known 
A bond of love felt deep within. 
And when as a beautiful bride 
You gracefully walked down the aisle 
My heart filled again with such pride
As eyes met once more in a smile.

Yes, I understood you to mean that you could change the lines around but had to include every word from line one. I also kept strictly to your prescribed rhyme scheme :ABAB CCDD EFGH II which necessarily altered the rhythm. I really appreciated your kind feedback Charles.
