Hearts To You

I feel it’s time to redefine The fancy flair of Valentine. Along sweet sacred lover’s love What about longtime friends we have?! They own a huge chunk of my heart That they will never tear apart, They may unnerve me here and there But when I fall their back is near. Kind shoulders if I need to grieve, A handy heart worn on their sleeve. And last, not least their precious ear That listens just because they care! Friends!!! In my books today’s yours too Without a French kiss, I love you. February 14, 2021
