Written: January 16, 2024 _______________________________________ Always strive to trust your heart With everything you do, Don't be afraid of what others may believe. Comply with your heart—it speaks best Always follow your instincts, And what offers you delight? Strive to constantly preserve your heart An outcome of vagueness, Easily occluded by shadows. If I could, I would save the whole world My arms would wrap the globe, Cease sorrow, grief, and sadness to avert chaos. To bear a raw life for all To ease all tears of grief and all anguish, It would forever be gone. I'm only a dreamer; I can't even save my heart but I would embrace the world if I could, With heartfelt affection for all.

Gosh, sigh this poem spoke so much to my soul, dear Sotto.. You've such an empathetic heart and a golden soul who wishes to erase melancholy from this world, wash away darkness and grief, whilst painting the universe with kindness and faith.. If only we could.. Sometimes, we are left on the brim, wandering in the vague thoughts thinking, if we are only mere dreamers, with no hope of bringing those magical elements to reality? This poem struck a chord with me and this is a sure FAV from you, woww

Much inspiration in your uplifting words, my friend. --If I could, I would save the whole world My arms would wrap the globe, Cease sorrow, grief, and sadness to avert chaos--such endearing sentiments, Lasaad!

This is really kind. I can relate, because I also wish to heal...and be healed. Lovely, loving verses...

The poem carries a powerful and universal message about the importance of trusting one's heart in navigating life's journey. The opening lines set a tone of encouragement, urging the reader to embrace their inner compass without fear of external judgment. The call to "comply with your heart" and follow instincts suggests a commitment to authenticity and personal truth, emphasizing the pursuit of genuine happiness... I felt your vulnerability in this one..

Me too dr sotto, if only i could, and i bet you feel this way alot of times too, its sad that we live in a world thats so very familiar with grief and strife, a hug mentally and spiritually is all we can offer. And if everyone did follow their heart this world would be such a beautiful and peaceful place really. I always think too the same that i am a mere dreaming dreaming of peace and unity and healing. Pleasure reading this lyrically powerful and well articulated poem that resonates.
