Hearts Ripped Apart
Watching the evening news one night.
Hearing how another lost their life.
Even though it isn't close to home.
It still hits a nerve.
Confused inside herself
wishing there was a way to help.
With no money
and a heavy heart,
she sat praying for a new start.
Praying for all those who died
and those still alive.
Confused inside herself
wondering how many
landslides occur a day?
How many trucks fall of the
cliffs of the Himalayas?
How much more can India endear?
As their roads wash away some more.
stranded with no form of
communication.
Hoping for the trucks to arrive
carrying supplies.
With love in their hearts,
and faith in their souls
they start rebuilding their world.
