Heart's Desire

I've been on this road before, been so sore My heart has been truly torn down to the floor I need space to roam and a place to call home I want to run this race and the rest is unknown - I don't know where else to roam You are the midnight sky I see, it's meant to be I am your crow with wings of ecstatic liberty I'll be there to rescue you from death's dark snare I'll be there to discard your last breath, yes, I'll be there to be your air The eyes are the windows to the inner soul I can see all the shadows dance so beautiful Wake me up, bring me to life and make me whole What comes up doesn't need to come down anymore - life's difficulties takes it toll I have no one else to turn to yet I have so much selfish, vain regret I got so upset...the times we met Got me thinking of the times we got our feet wet I'm still lonely One and only I didn't want to I hadn't got a clue Goodbyes, I never bid I didn't love you the way I did I have felt mesmerizing hopelessness I'm in this madness mess more or less I have flashbacks of the past sometimes, They are oh so vast and don't last thankfully You casted me away all the way Saw clearly like the break of day Our forbidden, sacred love has gone away My cheer has gone astray like it always does today Anyways.. Hope is here Eager to move on Ambitious and passionate Radiant like the sun Tranquility entwines with my heart's desire Silver soul like mine needs s boost once in a while Destined to be successful Elegant as a burning rose Shining like the deep, blue sea Ice and fire is within me Rove with me, my love End the ascension of negativity
