Hearts Are Like Glass

I wish I was more like her. She doesn’t know what kind of heart beats beneath
her
clothes. I wish I could talk to her. I wish she could know that sometimes it’s just
too
cold.

Hearts are like glass, its not like it’s asked for. Sometimes they break,
sometimes it’s
just too much. Hearts are like glass, its not like it’s asked for. cause who would
ask for that?

I wish that she could see things my way. I know I’ve tried to be different. I wish we
could hold hands in the night. Sometimes that’s all I need to hold on to.

Hearts are like glass, it’s not like its asked for. Sometimes they break,
sometimes it’s
just too much. Sometimes, sometimes…everything hits you too hard. don’t turn
away, don’t
break away from me.
