Heartless People

Heartless people
As I thought about my heartless individuality
And raised an unanswered question
Do these people pretend?
Do these pretend love?
How could they love me in a day and hate me in another?
How could they injure but not heal
How could they pass and never say hi?
Why would they pretend love?
Why can’t they say the word?
What are they compared to who they pretend to be?
Why do they cause me to cry, cause me to feel unloved?
Why cant they look deeper?
How could they have a heart?
Why in the most precious day to me
They never do what I want?
What I want
What I desire!
Why can’t they listen to my wishes?
How could they ignore my calls?
What are they?
What are they to humanity…
