Heartless Fellow

I just found out that you are heartless,
New findings make our friendship useless,
I escaped death twice this recent week,
Thought of which has made my heart so sick.

In the scotch I drank poison was traced,
Foul play from you cannot be erased,
Saved by divine hands and gracious heart,
Would have slept and moved through casket cart.

Why must you descend so low to kill?,
When our friendship has a stronger feel,
Money is nothing compared to love,
which is ordained from heaven above.
