Heartless

He stood, ripped open his shirt
offered her a spoon;
“Take it, scoop out my heart,
try not to be disappointed, dear
when you find nothing;
you devoured it years ago!”

Ummmm Rather vicious? I guess they weren't getting on too well that day.. I think he was vey wise using a spoon rather than a knife.. Your 6 lines speaks volumes Terry. Is it for Line's contest?
