Heartfelt

My thoughts take a tour
and marvel at the creator’s power
a tiny piece of flesh,
filled with arteries and veins
big on love, its headquarters,
Agape and all others demonstrated through here

experiencing pain every now and then,
feelings pick fights inside of me each day
true healing also starts from within,
I stay intact even when I am hurt and I bleed
Inflicted wounds no one sees,
Sometimes prone to disease

The seat of kindness
Where empathy and compassion meet with less vileness
Emotion’s bedrock, where they flare and soar high,
the engine of life
only calmed by inhaling and exhaling,
a function I carry naturally, no need explaining

While haters want to possess me,
with a desire to avenge and seek revenge,
causing me pain.
Pressure is unhealthy
Please don’t take me hostage,
allow me do what I do best, love

with no approval
I beat for all
Let me work at a pace I set
the reality you must accept
If I ever go down
know you all are done.
