Heart-Broken

I thought we were perfect.
I thought we were meant to be.
Then you pulled me aside,
You told me you weren't ready.
I thought it was okay,
I felt like I could move on.
But deep down, my heart was bleeding.
My heart was broken.
I cried in my sleep,
Trying to forget you,
But everytime, it hurt.
It destroyed me inside.
It was all a lie.
I was naive.
A pitiful fool.
I thought love was a fairy tale,
I was wrong.
I was blinded completely,
Thinking we were perfect.
In the end, my heart got broken...
