Heartbroken

HEARTBROKEN

I never saw you on bended knee
You never asked Will You Marry Me
Days weeks months and years went by
I never got the chance to get that special dress
We built a home
Combined our family
added some additions too
I dreamed of that day
The plans the gatherings
But still
I never saw you on bended knee
You never asked Will You Marry Me
I am here
You are here
We work hard to keep us right
During the day and night
at least we once did talk
about that union walk
Shopped and purchased the love bands
But still in all
I guess I never will wear your name
I never saw you on bended knee
You never asked Will You Marry Me
I am still heartbroken

Sweet expressions from wonderful lines which are so liberal to disallow the message stay hidden. I love this poem and it is definitely a 7
