Heartbreak
Okay here's the deal
I saw him and he saw me
But from the time we met I knew
It was never meant to be
Yet I still loved him
However hopeless it may seem
We grew up some and I still hoped
Knowing there might be a chance
No matter what he may have been thinking
There was never any dance
No date no love no second chance
For a while I thought that he
Had finally changed his mind
But alas it was not to be
And fate was none too kind
