Heartbrake and Love

She won't laugh anymore, she won't smile anymore, she won't talk anymore, she won't love anymore, she won't care anymore. She doesn't laugh anymore, nor does she smile and talk and love anymore... She still is beautiful though, like my own portrait lady, hung on the gallery wall for all the other's to observe her beauty. She was my goddess, my own Athena, looked so divine; as we danced in the ballroom on marble floor, as our hands joined together, as we shared smiles and kisses, and romantic whispers in each other's ears. And oh, how that four bit corsage it looked so perfect on your lovely wrist, and those jewels that made your eyes shine; your hair long, in curls; we were in love, my beautiful portrait lady. But Now-my love- oh, now I a ghost in your eyes, A lonesome Phantom- A new has come to dance with you, with a mind- marble heavy- who dips you on the ballroom floor and all eyes are on you two- Such young lovers, that is all- A naïve girl and a boy with buckle un-done and trousers around his ankles. My love though, true it was, but every eye turned away from me when you stopped caring and loving. See a fair Knight's heart broke, and to see him ride away to a lost land, only with sweet memories of you, in all your sweet beauty, my love- you shall not be forgotten so quick, only in good time my portrait lady. Now see anew sunrise, a new day, a new cliché, a new love, or a new way to love again and see my heart grow strong again, and pain gone with fresh, spring rain. A new knight rides along a highway and they all bow too him, in honor of a new, mended heart- .12.22.2013.
