Heart Space

Silently your eyes speak to me,
With just one look my heart can see,
As the tension builds, I push it away,
Because there are more important things that must be said,
I cannot allow myself to get in the way,
The attraction is so strong, I must step away,
There was more to this than what we know,
The timing was off, we needed to grow,
But when we finally come face to face,
We will understand this distance and space,
Please forgive me, I only did what I was told,
Believe me when I tell you, my heart already knows.
