Heart Song
Such is life, you know, we must go on
Blendin what’s at hand
We can rise, we can fall, sometimes
still, we don’t understand.
Heaven dreams of men who rise so high
Laughin when they can
Bringin joy, to the sky, not sighs
Not carin where they land
Not givin in to sorrow
Not givin in to pain
Liftin up their voices
You gotta learn to sing again
Refrain
And come on, make your heart light,
come on make your heart bright again
dry your tears, let your fears, all end
raise your voice, bring a cheer and then
we will be, wild and free, let’s extend.
I never new much of anger
I fell toward the Light
And I scoured the seasons
Burning way too bright
A ruddy flame that burnt boldly
Framing angels of night
Just like a soul phoenix rising
into the arms of His delight.
Not giving in to sorrow
Not givin in to pain
Liftin up their voices
You gotta learn to sing again
And come on, make your heart light,
come on make your heart bright again
dry your tears, let your fears, all end
raise your voice, bring a cheer and then
we will be, wild and free, let’s extend.
