Heart Ripped Out

Joy filled my days
when I heard from you.
Now you say
nothing against you
but I can't text you.
My heart broke
like waves on shore.
Tears flow from eyes
with these words spoke.
Lions ripped soul into
as I remember you
the words of love
I shared with you.
Now all alone
for holiday
which should have been joy
but now filled with my cry
of pain deep inside

Anne this really happened at the worst time but I am getting over it so it can be a good holiday. I have such good friends as you and others on here and closer to me that turn sadness to joy. Your soup friend Michael

Oh Michael, a heart wrenching write. I am so sorry. And I have no words of advice except that time ( sometimes a VERY long time) will help. bg
